A fiduciary is someone who manages money or property for others. A fiduciary manages assets on behalf of someone else and is bound by law to put their client’s interests above their own. I am proud to be a fiduciary working to serve my clients’ best interests.
Being an independent financial advisor means I am not bound to any supervisory agent or corporation. I can recommend to you products that I believe will be of benefit to you without receiving any commission or kickback. My clients are my priority, and preserving their wealth and watching it grow are my main objectives.
I am proud to operate under a 100% transparent fee structure. Blair Capital Management is fee-only, which means I only earn money from the services I provide you rather than from specific products I recommend to you that you purchase. To explain further, fee-only means that my fee is based on the net asset value of your account. So if your account goes up in value, then my fee goes up, and vice versa.
This question hits at the core of my mission. My goal with every client is to explain financial concepts in a way that is completely understandable. I will take whatever time necessary to answer your questions and present all the relevant options while making sure to present the pros and cons in straightforward terms. Finance is my business; I don’t assume it’s yours.
This is an easy question for me to answer. I’m different from other financial advisors you may be considering because my background includes working for and managing a few of the largest and most sophisticated investment banks and hedge funds in the United States. Most other financial advisors operating independent firms like mine have been advisors to individuals and families for their entire careers. Due to my past experience, I have been a close witness to the way powerful banking financial institutions and hedge funds react to the changing economic and investment environments. Unlike other neighborhood investment advisors, I have been in the trenches for every bull and bear market for the past four decades.
The lines of communication are always open between us. You call, I respond. You can expect open, ongoing, and transparent dialogue during our partnership. I believe these back-and-forth discussions are the best way to continuously monitor that your investments remain aligned with your goals. You will also receive a monthly statement from a third-party custodian updating you on your investments.
